This Competency Unit enables an individual to acquire the skills and knowledge to Operate Forklift.

Target Audience

It is recommended for forklift operators who want to be updated on the significance of developing, maintaining safety practices and adhering to safety operating rules, regulations and guidelines to increased safety and productivity in their workplace.

Assumed Skills and Knowledge

Learners must be above 18 years ofage and are assumed to:

Must be a qualified Forklift Drivers
Have a basic knowledge of therelevant sector of work
Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy level 3 and above.
Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3; and
Safety Shoes and proper attire for training

Trainer to Learner ratio for practical sessions: 1:1

Attendance

Attendance Requirements: 100% for classroom and practical sessions

Certification

Based on the successful completion of the course and assessment, a certificate of achievement endorsed by EuroSAFE Associates Pte Ltd will be awarded to the trainee.
