This “Banksmen Safety Course” aims to provide the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to persons carrying out vehicle Banksman duties. At the end of the course, successful candidates should be able to guide a large goods vehicle, equipment, machineries safely and efficiently into a designated area using hand and arm signals.

Course Contents

Gain awareness of what is a banksman in workplace transport supervision.
Understand the necessity and importance of a banksman in workplace safety.
Learn how a banksman helps in risk control for large vehicles.
Understand the importance of a traffic marshal in traffic control.

The “Banksmen Safety Course” is for anyone that wishes to carry out generic Banksman Duties at the workplace.

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 4; and

Certification

Based on the successful completion of the course and assessment, a certificate of achievement endorsed by EuroSAFE Associates Pte Ltd will be issued to all participants.
